VIDEO: Tony Robbins on “The Art of Fulfillment”

Being Content Doesn’t Have to Mean Choosing Happiness Over Success

For better or worse, much of our culture is defined by achievement and the drive to consume—knowledge, entertainment, and satisfaction. However, according to peak performance strategist Tony Robbins, our brains have yet to catch up—they’re hardwired, he explains, to constantly put us on the lookout for what’s wrong, which in turn leads us to higher rates of anxiety and depression.

The key to mastering what Tony calls “The Art of Fulfillment,” is learning to trade our expectations for appreciation. But feeling fulfilled isn’t simply matter of trading happiness for success, or vice versa. In this clip with Networker Editor Rich Simon, he explains how his approach allows people to pursue both.
